An all-natural approach for a healthier body and a happier mind

Here at Reset Your Health, we are committed to providing the guidance and support you need to establish a healthy and sustainable lifestyle so you can reap the benefits, both physically and mentally.

The gut-brain axis is an exhilarating new area of research that has revealed the vastly under-appreciated role that our gut bacteria plays in our health. This forms the basis of Reset Your Health; developed with a team of doctors, dieticians, scientists, nutritionists and chefs, RYH teaches you how to get your gut – and therefore your health – back on track, naturally.

Our mission

Guide you to improve your health through 4-weeks’ worth of recipes; simply tell us your food preferences and any health challenges you’re facing and we’ll provide you with three recipes per day tailored to your dietary and health needs.

Educate you as to how each recipe and ingredient can help you reset your gut microbiome; we won’t just tell you what, we’ll tell you why.

Support you and encourage you to continue healthy eating; RYH is not just 4-weeks’ worth of recipes, it’s a lifestyle change.

Our founder, Catherine Rogers, devised RYH as a practical counterpart to her latest book, Gut Well Soon, a carefully researched curation of facts focused on the importance of maintaining a healthy gut microbiome.

From obesity to your mental health, RYH can benefit a whole range of health issues, helping you to reset your health and feel better, inside and out.

The Book – Gut Well Soon

Reset Your Health began with a book, which began with a blog, which began with a simple question – why?

We know that we should eat our greens, drink lots of water and avoid excess sugar, but what are the facts behind this accepted wisdom? When her 12-year-old daughter started asking why she should follow her mother’s advice, Catherine Rogers began a blog explaining the science behind all of her maternal instructions. In time, she realised that what she had developed was a sensible all-round guide to a healthier lifestyle, which became the basis for her new book: Gut Well Soon. Thank you, daughter!

With a wealth of information at our fingertips – and an ever-increasing number of self-proclaimed ‘experts’, all claiming to offer the latest health advice but not offering any real explanation as to how it works – it can be difficult to work out what a healthy lifestyle actually looks like.

This is where Gut Well Soon comes in: a practical, informative, fully referenced and accessible guide to achieving good gut health as a basis for mental and physical wellness.

Catherine Rogers has explored the science underpinning the health claims we have all heard but have never fully understood. Her work with Oxford University PhD researchers examining the relationship between gut bacteria and the immune system, schizophrenia and other areas, together with her 20 years of experience as a mental health therapist, has led her to believe passionately in the importance of good gut health for both mental and physical wellbeing. Catherine has also experienced her own wellness journey; having suffered from debilitating migraines and the ensuing low moods and low energy, she took a practical approach to changing her diet and saw a drastic reduction in their frequency and a general significant uplift in her health.

Over the course of fourteen chapters, Gut Well Soon explores key areas of ‘healthy living’ to arm readers with the tools they need to make proactive, informed and effective lifestyle changes. From nutrition and the importance of gut health in mind-body wellbeing, to exercise, stress and how to look after an ageing brain, this book takes the reader on a journey through the fact and fiction (and several grey areas!) and explores the ‘why’ behind the ‘what’ of current health advice.
